LST Strategy Manager

LST Strategy Manager is the System of Strategic Management designed for medium-sized businesses. It involves the IT support for the process of formulating, executing and controlling the strategy execution in the form of the Strategic Score Card. The basic objectives of this solution are the simplicity of operation and the minimum costs related to the purchase of license for additional software. Therefore LST Strategy Manager is based on IT tools included in MS SQL Server platform and Microsoft Excel spread sheet. It provides business logic available in the patterns and the methodology of finding solutions.

Business layer

LST Strategy Manager is the solution which enables the precise management of the strategy of an organization. It makes it possible to:

divide the strategy into initiatives and strategic targets,

determine and continually measure critical success factors,

prepare plans and simulations.

LST Strategy Manager is organized according to the premises of the Strategic Score Card. The business layer consists of the following three elements:

Strategy maps which enable the presentation of initiatives and strategic targets which are included in the strategy and relations between them.

Score Cards show the current values of strategic measurements in 4 perspectives defined by R. Kaplan and D. Norton

desktop manager which presents the breakdown of main strategic measurements.

As the solution is based on the data analysis tools called OLAP (On-line Analytical Processing - term used for systems based on the technology of data wholesale) included in the MS Excel spread sheet, it is user friendly as one can easily modify, simulate and analyse data.

Technical layer In technical terms LST Strategy Manager is based on additional analytical components (Analysis Services) included in MS SQL Server package. Information chips are generated with such tools in order to present data to users. The solution may be based on the existing transaction systems and on any database with ODBC interface.
